The No. 0 Brownie Camera

Today has been a day of magical delight, from the 14th April 1903, in the shape of a rectangular box!

My grandar owned a beautiful Box Brownie many years ago and it has just been rediscovered - to my excitement it is in perfect condition! Having just downloaded the manual from BrownieCamera.nl, I am eager to see if the vintage camera itself still works!

I have been invited to create and submit an image for DesignCollector’s Calendar for 2010. Having just got onto the brief, here is my first initial play (which I think needs the E back in) - still many ideas to put onto paper, but I think this is possibly a route worth developing, storytelling within the typography…
lets see where this takes me!

Further developments from the post it’s all about the music. Here is the final MT arms logo, all pending review.

Info: here I used the white space and keyline around the characters to suggest ‘empty/MT’ and the Phono Connector to make the connection to live music.

I returned from the serene Cyprus a week ago on Sunday. My sisters exotic wedding was surely a fairy tale with the perfect setting and the perfect bride and groom.

I have taken well over 3,000 or more shots - mind you this does include the whole 2 weeks of the holiday! I am left with the hard task of editing all the photographs taken, most of which will have to be put in a separate album as the gifted album only holds 250. I have found time to download some of the shots onto my mac. I will be adding all photographs to my protaras, cyprus ‘09 where time permits.
