Time Lapse Flower Bud

I am always so excited when someone contacts me to use my work for their project, or ask me to submit images for publications. Being creative for a living is wonderful and with two of my most favoured hobbies too.

Above Time Lapse Flower Bud has been chosen for article submission as an Exhibit, an academic submission.

- The sequence was created in October 2007, a simple series taken from a TV advert, retouched and tiled up to show the time lapse in stills.

A wintery Ravenglass

On Sunday, possibly the coldest, windiest day I decided to head to Ravenglass. It has the most beautiful estuary, reminds me of Arnside, very peaceful. I’m certainly a coast or lake person, anywhere there is water I’ll be, so tranquil.

Liu Bolin, Vanishing Artist

Liu is a Chinese artist known as the ‘Vanishing Artist.’ He can often be found, or should I say not found, painted in order to blend in with the background. Lui graduated from the Sculpture Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, he is certainly an inspiration, his studies must of influenced him greatly. Since then he has been blending in with all kinds of places and objects, his latest being a supermarket vegetable display.

My little niece is growing so so fast. She’s started talking; her first word being ‘Balloon’ which was more like ‘Boon’ followed closely by ‘Hiya.’ She also has this cute creeping walk when she knows she is being mischievious. Big brother Owen has brought her on leaps and bounds.
