Designing the logo…

Below is my current logo which will be placed into the navigation section on my new website. I am pleased with the formation of the clean letter forms through the use of the diagonal lines.

The Whitehaven News has launched a group on Flickr called Whitehaven Snappers, a project set up by Alan Cleaver, Deputy Editor of the Whitehaven News.

“The group is open to anyone who lives in Whitehaven/West Cumbria or anyone who takes photos in this corner of England.”

A big thank you to Alan Cleaver, for printing my work along with other enthusiastic photographers in The Whitehaven News.

The idea being to portray a mood/atmosphere of a chosen area, a much loved project from the year of my foundation course.

>>> Endangered Type

I have created a blog to explore typographical exploration. Most of my work as you can see on my website is mainly visuals, so I want to use this blog to review type as a whole. I would love to explore what type makes my graphic mind tick, creating a tingling sensation and leave me wanting more.

The blog will also cover various aspects of any creative tasks.

I hope you will all enjoy this journey with me and please feel free to get in touch with any questions or queries.

Thank you,

Sarah
