Natural Beauty

St. Bees at it’s very best. With growing confidence in photography, i’ve added these images to show how different perspectives, lighting and tones add to the character and atmosphere of an image. Such a surreal aura.

Water colours

Having watched the opening credits to the Korean thriller, Lady Vengeance, I was intrigued by the effects and the smooth transitions between frames. With the use of a brilliant white background other aspects were then added to the sequence. I tried to replicate their effect of blood dripping into water, and in doing so came up with these wonderful effects, the images captured are rather strange in that compositions are formed naturally and are unpredictable, there is one image, at the bottom, which looks like a Victorian lady feeding her dog.

Ambient

Playing with the phrase, “colour your future,” I decided that ‘hello colour” would be quite interesting to see as ambient media. For example, as it’s for the area of Carlisle, the piece could be placed on Carlisle’s public transport. The background would be transparent; the type itself could be white or black, depending on the media with the introduction of colour.

Moving image

Here is a small sample of a storyboard, kept black and white for the time being (image building). The type will interact with an image of a student, facing the viewer.

Colour your future

Today I had a brief set, to create a bespoke creative solution that targets the right audiences and successfully promotes and informs. My approach is to speak with the viewer, making the viewer question about where they are, where do they want to be? Here is an example of what has been achieved, this post will be updated.

For the finished product the colours will be vibrant and layered.
