Work in Progress*

YCN/PANASONIC & ONLINEFIRE are calling all students

…across the country to create a film, storyboard or print ad that tells the story of the new Panasonic Viera Home Hub TV. There are prizes to be won, but the most important prize is that the selected works will be featured on Panasonic’s homepage and possibly as an ad campaign in the future.

This is a fantastic competition, they are searching for as many students as possible to enter, so get designing!

Visit NextGenerationTalent.co.uk for further details and to see the submissions so far.

White Lies

FAULT
Magazine
-
Below is the second image I have produced for Fault.
White Lies was made from flour and dough.

The idea was to keep the surrounding space as white as possibly to allow easy application. I am going to re shoot the two entries, this and The Redwalls and see how they appear as titles with white space.

Flickr Explore

I have been very lucky to have a selection of images featured on Flickr Explore. Flickr is one of the best creative networks, not only keeping you in touch with other like-minded creatives, but also keeping the inspirational juices flowing.

Following my self-initiated piece, Fault magazine have invited me to create two titles.

Using some out of date ginger i put together this piece; the initial for the title The Redwalls.

The other design will be uploaded soon.

‘The Logo’

CHANGING ‘The Look’
-

As a designer i feel i could change my identity everyday; i always find something new and more creative. But when is enough ever enough? It is true about designers being their own worst client - i am considering actually just going for ‘The Logo’ and adapt it when i come across a new font or concept.

How do you change and adapt your logo identities and are you ever happy with the final outcome?
