CUT & PASTE

Scanning through a magazine I came across this typeface. My business cards are very image orientated, so today I decided it was time for change. I always see gorgeous type and never get the chance to use it, so here you have it, I have used some gorgeous type through CUT & PASTE and here is the result. Having seen the type on it’s own and with an image, there is much more impact with just the simplicity of type, therefore if I was to pursue this further it would be with printing processes and colouring.

It was love at first sight…

These prints were produced for bedroom canvases. Experimenting with quink ink and its wonderful unpredictability, the ink was added over a LOVE, ADORE and DESIRE template, then blew out to create ink branches.

>>> Endangered Type

I have created a blog to explore typographical exploration. Most of my work as you can see on my website is mainly visuals, so I want to use this blog to review type as a whole. I would love to explore what type makes my graphic mind tick, creating a tingling sensation and leave me wanting more.

The blog will also cover various aspects of any creative tasks.

I hope you will all enjoy this journey with me and please feel free to get in touch with any questions or queries.

Thank you,

Sarah
